We LOVE Wagner Farm! The Glenview Park District bought the 18+ acre farm in 1998. Meg loves to go to pet the animals and Katie loves the fresh farmer’s market that is open June – October. Collect eggs, step inside a two-story silo, and browse a 1930s grocery story while exploring the interactive exhibits in the Heritage Center.
Dig in a sandbox, swing on a tire, and learn as you play at the Ag Adventure area, a unique hybrid between a traditional playground and an interactive agricultural education exhibit. Observe livestock and poultry in pastures, sheds, and coops. This is a treasure on the north shore!
The Kohl Children’s Museum is a wonderful interactive museum located in Glenview near The Glen Town Center. With permanent interactive exhibits and visiting exhibits (there is a Van Gogh exhibit there now), The Kohl Museum is a wonderful place for the whole family, offering art classes, birthday parties, field trips and much more!
The Glen Town Center Built where the Glenview Navel Base used to be, The Glen offers everything you need all in one location. It features specialty retailers, restaurants, luxury apartments, professional office spaces & a movie theater. Relax Navy Park in between shopping or attend one of our many events throughout the year, including a late summer art show. Enjoy life size chess & checkers daily.
